BEGV2 - Bravo Likes To Boogaloo

Well, here we are. Number two in the series for myself - and a very definitive flow of styles. Whereas Diz went for a truly eclectic running order on number 2. I decided to be quite prescriptive in the running order. We go from the R&B of Don Gardner to the blues jazz of Mose Allison, to the brash garage of The Prime Movers and the Garage Punk of Thee Headcoat Sect to the seductive funk of The Bamboos and Lefties Soul Connection taking in the Hammond sound of Stoned Soul Picnic and finishing off with possibly (for me anyway) the finest piece of music (of any genre) ever performed - Cristo Redentor by Mr Donald Byrd, a jazz masterpiece - cheers for the tip Dan P - and even including the 90's sound of Shaun Ryder and Black Grape along the way!

As always there are print quality covers in the zipped file that you will download, don't bother trying to print the images here on the blog as they are just low-res versions.

My particular faves on this are 'My Baby Likes To Boogaloo' which I've since played a few times when dJ'ing, and the brilliantly titled 'Flute Salad'. All good tho'!
